Padre Island Fly Fishing Services, Operating out of the Corpus Christi area, I offer sight-fishing opportunities for Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and Sheepshead with a fly rod and light tackle. While on the hunt, I will quietly pole you in a Hell's Bay Whipray skiff from the rear platform and put you in the best position to make your cast. There’s nothing like going one-on-one with a Redfish!
All levels of fly-casting experience are welcome! For the experienced caster tuning up for a Permit trip, our stubborn Black Drum and skittish Sheepshead can offer great practice to build casting confidence.
For new casters, our Redfish population is pretty forgiving on most days! As a member of the Corpus Christi Fly Fishers, I enjoy volunteering at our First Saturday Casting Events teaching the fundamentals to new fly- casters - so don’t feel hesitant that you’re not ready. You’ll definitely have a better cast by the end of the day with my on-the-water coaching!
Guided trips focus on the inland waters from Port Aransas all the way down to Baffin Bay and the Land Cut. The Coastal Bend offers miles and miles of beautiful shoreline teeming with healthy populations of diverse fish and wide range of wildlife. Come see and experience it for yourself!
